Carey Faughs held their awards dinner in the Marine Hotel on Friday night, and not surprisingly a large crowd turned out to celebrate the club’s great success in winning the 2021 Intermediate Hurling Championship. There were rumours that they had celebrated the event a few times already, since that famous day in October last year, but they mustered up the courage it give it another lash just in case. Unfortunately one of the men who led them to their first win in 19 years, team Coach Marty Jamison, was unable to attend but he was very much in their thoughts as they put the 2021 season to bed.
